I create paintings and drawings that focus on the corporeal effect on the body and mind of a person as their inner alchemy evolves upon transitions through roles and experiences. Navigating patrescence, matresence, racialisation, incarceration and capitalism are themes that I have studied in my work.

In seeing a person as a unique moment in their own lineage, I invite viewers to witness forces acting upon a person so as to question the function of cultural conditioning.
